1377 November 7, 2026 In A While Crocodile
Another great walk in the park. I almost quit because the mosquitoes were flying up under the brim of my hat. I saw Tim turn back. I kept walking though and once I was in full sunshine, the little beasts left me alone! I kept stopping to take pictures but I did get almost three miles!
First, this beautiful red shouldered hawk captured my attention.

Then, I heard this woodpecker before I spotted him. He was steadily pounding away on the palm tree and it was hard to get a good image.

After breakfast, we took bikes over to the marina. We were lucky to see a mama manatee and her calf.

Later in the day, Tim took another bike ride and I stayed back to do PT and weights. He saw this great crocodile swimming in the marina.

For dinner we took our kale and chicken salads and drove out to West Lake.

This is such a pretty place.

The sky was amazing tonight.

We drove to the marina on our way back to the campground and the croc was still there.
