1374 November 4, 2026 Miami Again
We each took long walk making loops around the campground.
Once we had cooled down and eaten breakfast, we got ready to back to the big city. Tim wanted another opportunity to go to the gym. I had seen a laundromat in the same shopping center when we went there the other day. I gathered sheets and towels and clothes and off we went.
The sky was that weird shade of purple-grey and we thought we would get rained on…and we did.
It took more than an hour to get to Miami because of an extended road construction delay.
Tim helped me carry stuff to the Sunset Laundry and he went to work out. While waiting for the washer to do its thing, I caught up on emails and messages. I finished folding clothes just as Tim finished.
We went to the grocery for a few things. Then, we found a post office where I could mail postcards and get more stamps.
I was given the assignment of finding a restaurant for a late lunch. Autentica Taqueria had 4.4 stars on YELP. We had really yummy birria quesadillas on homemade corn tortillas. Tim almost ordered fajitas but the waiter had such a favorable response to my order that he changed his mind and we both got the same thing…so so good!
I drove us back to the campground. We were gone from 10:30-3:30pm and we had accomplished a lot; a most productive outing!

This evening we did not need/want dinner. Tim hopped on his bikes and did some loops. I took another good walk.
We settled on a bench to see of the clouds and the sun make designs in the evening sky.
We saw a gator making his way across the water.
