Day 2 Arizona West RV Park Yuma, Arizona

The day was spent doing 5 loads of laundry and catching up with family. We also took a good walk this morning.

We were able to order supplies from Walmart online and have a pick-up scheduled tomorrow.

We packed a lunch and took a drive through farmland. It looks like the cabbage has been harvested. There were fields of kale and red lettuce and parsley.

The orange trees were laden with oranges and the air was fragrant with their scent. They say that scent is a powerful cue for recall of past experiences. The orange trees smelled just like an AVON orange blossom perfume that my grandmother used to give to me when I was a young girl…beautiful memories.

We had a picnic lunch in the deserted park in the town of Somerton.
