A long time ago, early in our marriage, Tim and I talked a lot about how cool it would be to buy an RV and see the sights. We made a promise to one another to work toward that goal. We were good at that, setting a goal and then doing whatever it took to make it happen. We worked hard; bought property, built our own house, and started a business. I worked as a nurse. We raised 2 boys and helped them both go to college and then medical school and physical therapy school.
15 years ago we rented a Class C motor-home and drove to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. As we enjoyed a glass of wine and watched the sunset at our first campsite on the Chesapeake Bay, we knew that the RV lifestyle was for us. 8 years ago we bought the RV of our dreams, a Tiffin Allegro RED. For the past many years we have gone to Florida each winter, gradually spending more time in the RV. As we have spent more time traveling we have realized how much we enjoy doing this together. We love to explore. We want to be open to new experiences and adventures.
We have seen a lot of the United States east of the Mississippi River. Until now we were working and we haven’t had the time to travel further.
Now that we have retired, we intend to see where the road takes us.
We know that lots of people work really hard and never have the opportunity to do what we are doing. We are so grateful and feel very lucky that we get this chance. We are going to enjoy the ride!
